COVID-19 Updates

April 28th, 2020

Due to state and federal government social distancing guidelines and the extension of the suspension of play by US Youth Soccer and US Soccer, all Illinois Youth Soccer sanctioned activities are suspended until at least May 15, 2020.    As of April, 28 – assume that all sanctioned activities are suspended until June 1 (per Governor Pritzker’s State Order)

Thank you for your cooperation to protect our soccer family.

As of April 24th- soccer leagues YSSL (boys) & IWSL (girls) have cancelled the spring season. We are working on back up plans for the summer months. Updates will be emailed to respective teams.

The effects of COVID-19 have had an unmeasurable effect on every day life around the world. From a soccer standpoint, we’ve lost the opportunity for a spring season consisting of out of state tournaments, higher league divisions, and our first overseas trip with a Mirage team going to Germany for a series of tournaments.

Currently we are all in a waiting game/holding formation, as we await further updates on when we can resume regularly scheduled activities. Until then, refer to your team accounts and email for information on activities we are participating in while the stay-at-home order is in effect.

Thank you
